Love our Fathers, John and Matt? Love tamales? Chips and guac? Frijoles and tortillas? And who doesn’t love piñatas? Celebrate our many blessings with our two Fathers and a feast from Tamale Boy! Hosted by Bill McCormack, join us in the Rectory Dining Room on Cinco de Mayo!
Literature and Wine
Join us for an evening of books and vino! Martha Flotten, Molly Hiro and Lani VanHoomissen will once again be hosting a fun- filled night for book worms, with a little wine tasting. We will be meeting at the Rectory at Holy Redeemer, sharing appetizers, rating wines, playing games and sharing our general love of books. We look forward to spirited discussions, meeting new friends and discovering new favorites, both books and wine!
Bunco Players Wanted
Must know how to toss dice. Must know how to add to twenty-one. Must be able to recognize three of a kind. Must be willing to have a great time. Knowing how to have a good laugh required. Anthea Jouno & Lori DeDobbelaere are hosting Bunco Night so come shake, rattle, and roll!
Design a “Cannon” with The Art of STEM
The Art of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) is coming to HRCS this spring to teach our students how to design a “cannon” that will have marshmallows flying everywhere in small hall. This awesome workshop will be hosted by Winnie Nguyen.
Wine in the Woods
Calling all the ladies! Join us for an evening at host, Sarah Santangelo’s lovely home hidden in the woodsy hills of SW Portland! There will be good times with wine tasting, cocktails, and delicious food! Your presence will make the party complete, join us!
Parents Brunch Out, Kids Brunch In ... with their Teachers!
The Portland brunch scene is fabulous...especially when your kids aren’t tagging along. Enjoy a relaxing brunch or just some hours on a Saturday morning while your kids enjoy a delicious brunch with their HR teachers! Our fabulous Breakfast Club crew from the parish will prepare the food and the HR staff will organize fun activities around campus for the kiddos to enjoy.
Yummy in Different Languages
Jim and Frances are teaming up once again this year with our own Brendan McCormack for an afternoon of fun and flavor. Grab your passports to the Embassy, otherwise known as Frances and Jim’s backyard, and enjoy culinary treats from Holy Redeemer graduate and Chef Extraordinaire, Brendan McCormack. Be prepared to taste your way through the world one small plate at a time. Bring friends, bring family and get ready to say Yummy in Different Languages. Hosted by Jim Mehrens & Frances Portillo.
Red Yarn and his Puppets Live at HRCS
Let your imagination fly and your dancing feet flutter when you come see Red Yarn and his puppets live on the HRCS stage on May 6. Be amazed when our school cafeteria is magically transformed into the Deep Woods and the energetic weaving of folksong and puppetry casts a spell of smiles and laughter over your children. Hosted by Dominique Dallmayr, Teresa Johnson, and Elfina Alongi.
