How do I register to bid?

When Do I Start Bidding?

You can bid on silent auction items starting Sunday, February 28th. 

Live Auction items will be available to preview starting on Sunday, February 28th. You can begin bidding on LIVE Auction items starting on

You can choose to “set it & forget it” or set your maximum bid and the software will bid for you up to that amount.

The Silent and Live Auctions both close Saturday, March 6th.

Schedule For March 6

6:30 pm: Double check that you’ve registered with Greater Giving on your phone or browser and open https://www.youtube.com/holyredeemerpdx on your laptop, tablet or smart TV to enjoy the auction.
7:00–8:00 pm: The show begins!

How Do I Bid While Watching the Auction?

First, make sure you have registered to bid.

Second, you will need to use your smartphone, laptop, or tablet to place bids and to watch the auction. We highly encourage you to have TWO devices. One for watching and one for bidding.

Can I Bid on Items if I Don’t Live in Oregon?

Absolutely! We will ship the items you’ve won to you.

Picking Up Your Items

An email will be sent to all winning bidders following the auction with more details.

What is YouTube?

YouTube is a video viewing platform and the location of where we will be posting the live portion of the auction. Open a browser to: https://www.youtube.com/holyredeemerpdx. If you’re using the YouTube app on your device, you will need to search for Holy Redeemer Pdx. This is where you’ll watch the Auction on March 6.

Do I have to register on Youtube?

NO! You only need to create a YouTube account if you want to participate in text chat onscreen. If you just want to watch, there’s no registration required. Just know, we will be having giveaways which will do through the YouTube chat feature. If you are using the YouTube chat feature and log in before the streaming begins, you will need to refresh your browser to take part in the chat.

How do I chat on Youtube?

You will need to sign-up for a FREE youtube account. Youtube calls their accounts channels, but it is simply a free youtube account. One more thing, even if you have a google account you still need to sign-up for a youtube account to take part in the chat.
